We made it Downtown to see the lights again this year.
We smartened up a little and headed down in the afternoon (Andy took the afternoon off) and we had lunch, went to the Church History Museum, saw the Christus without any lines, and watched the Nativity up close and personal. We even had choices for parking!! It was so nice to beat the crowds and it wasn't as cold during the day. The kids had a TON of fun at the Museum and when the lights turned on at 5:00 we headed outside to see the spectacle....took a few pictures and headed home to beat traffic. It was the best and least stressful experience we have ever had with Temple Square lights.
I think we will make a tradition of going early in the day every year!
