We headed to the Olympic Oval to watch the USA guys kick some BUTT and still hold the best time in Speed Skating... The USA girls did awesome too and took 3rd place.
The kids loved it and it was really fun to watch. We sat right at the starting line and the kids thought it was awesome when the Olympic staff would hold up signs that told us to be quite until the starting gun went off. Emri would see the signs go up and tell everyone to SHUSH!
We were lucky and sat by some DIE HARD Fans who brought their cow bells. So, our group of bleachers were the FUN and ROWDY crowd! We really got into it!

Andy had to help someone in our ward move last minute....So, he had to come a little late. I braved the DOWN POOR of rain with the kids in what seemed like the LARGEST parking lot in the world. (We LUCKED OUT and got the farthest parking space from the entrance)
So, once we walked in drenched, found our seats and got situated. Trace hauled off and punched Avi right in the nose (mind you it's RIGHT when the PLEASE BE QUIET signs had gone up while the skaters were at the starting line. Luckily, Avi had seen the signs and held her SCREAMS to a minimum!)

Avi had pushed trace for some reason, so he punched her back! Blood was coming out all over and I was sitting there without a tissue or napkin one in my purse.
(AND Fatherless mind you)
So, I left my kids all by themselves to go to the nearest nacho stand and stock up on their napkins.

LUCKILY, my nice Cow Bell friends who sat next to us saw what was going on and came to Avi's rescue while I was running around in search for napkins.
But, we still had GOOD TIMES at the OLYMPIC OVAL!
Luckily, Avi's blood was the only blood shed for the event!!
