Thanksgiving

This year's Thanksgiving was going to be at our place with EVERYONE from both families, but plans changed and we ended up in Price helping my parents with their newest Project!
I grew up next to the NICEST neighbor. And now that he has Grand kids of his own, he always has something FUN for the kids to enjoy. He brought home this EXTREMELY old car that he was putting in this years Electric Light Parade and took the kids for a ride around the neighborhood.
Of course they LOVED it!

Miss Chubs got her ears pierced a few days before Thanksgiving. She did GREAT! Of COURSE she cried....(everyone asks that) But, as soon as we popped in a Pink Sucker, she was in HEAVEN! She had Sucker EVERYWHERE by the time we got home! She looks ADORABLE!

So, my parents PROJECT is a rental home that they just purchased. It's a cute little house that definitely needs work.
My Dad is a PERFECTIONIST!! So, since the house had several things that needed fixing, he decided it was best to tear it down to the 2 x 4's and jack hammer the whole basement out!
It is going to take a lot of work....But, it sure is going to look nice when it's done!

The kids had a BLAST up on the roof with Grandpa.
He tore out the Chimney and the kids LOVED throwing pieces off the roof into the enormous dumpster below.

Grandpa sure loves the DEMO part.....Ripping, smashing, and tearing things up!!

Of course, Trace is the KING of DESTRUCTION.....So, once he was given the OK.....He was smashing whatever he could get the hammer on! He even smashed his own head a few times throwin back the hammer!
No Blood though.....

We can't go to Grandma Rita's without getting a new FACE!

Trace thought he was pretty cool! He wanted to fight anybody that had the energy. Luckily, cousin Josh was up to getting beat up after Andy gave up!

Miss Chubs can't sit still long enough to get her face painted....But, when she can, I'm sure her cheeks will make for the perfect canvas! She has the puffiest cheeks!

And of course we can't leave Price without a 4 wheeler ride!
Trace rides 'til he can't ride no more!
Even if it's FREEZING!

It most certainly would have been fun to have Thanksgiving at your house...but just think, we wouldn't have been able to go 4 wheeling, ride in the little antique car,or act like hicks from Price! Well, I guess we could have acted like hicks from Price while in West Jordan, but that would've been embarrassing! It's much more fun to be weird like everyone around you & be at home. Hahaha It was so fun having you here, every last minute of it!

We also appreciated your help on the "MONEY PIT FROM HELL" house. And the marks in Trace's head from the claw end of the hammer have nearly healed....you can't even see his brain any more, that's a good sign, don't ya think? In fact, Andy wouldn't have looked quite so buff in Costa Rica if he hadn't been throwing that cement around at the house at Thanksgiving time, so it paid off for all of us in the end!
